Where the Money Goes

100% of Your Donation Goes toward Finding a Cure

It was important to note that unlike most other foundations, Tyler’s Hope is operated by only volunteers. This is important because all of the contributions and money raised goes towards finding a cure rather than paying for salaries.
Our many successes have motivated our foundation to establish greater and ore challenging goals. Through hard work, good friends, and a miraculous opportunity we have set our sites on building a dedicated research center (“Brain Repair Center”) in Gainesville Florida that will be connected to the McKnight Brain Institute. This is a great challenge but achievable! We have a specific goal with an end point and clear plan to succeed.
Dystonia is a curable disorder. Although it is the worst most devastating and disrupting disorder I have ever encountered, research has determined both the gene and the protein responsible. These advancements were accomplished with very little funding and over a relatively short period of time. We can find a cure, and I have to. With enough money we can fund the “Brain Repair Center”, bring the top researchers in the world to the center and develop a “Manhattan-Project” to cure dystonia.
When we raise the money for the “Brain Repair Center” the state will match 100% of the funds to build the bricks and mortar so that we can use all of the dollars raised to entice the researchers to come find a cure. The McKnight Brain Institute has promised to share existing lab space, technologies, and infrastructure to make the “Brain Repair Center” an immediate success. Success to me is finding a cure. What would be better than having a part in finding a cure for 500,000 people? We need your help.
